Ever wonder what kind of character would be daring enough to plant a literal forest of marijuana in the midst of Greater London? Well, we’ll never know cause as the bobbies were closing in on the stalky illegal harvest located in the suburban Kingston section of town, the gutsy ganja grower was nowhere to be found leaving behind a crop of valuable greenery the “size of a football pitch”. Alas all that hard work toiling in the fields had gone to waste as all the plants, some towering 6′ tall, were then destroyed by slightly giddy constables who later took to Twitter with a cheery “Welcome to the leafy suburbs of Kingston!”.
